“American Ninja Warrior” Winner Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges

A Florida man was sentenced to 121 months in prison on child porn charges. This is just over 10 years.

On June 1, 2023, the 35-year-old man from Saint Cloud pled guilty to one count of receiving child pornography as well as one count of knowingly persuading, enticing, and coercing a minor to travel to various states to engage in sexual activity. The man is known as a former winner of “American Ninja Warrior,” which is a reality show that sees contestants attempt a series of obstacle courses and complete them as quickly as possible.

The child sex abuse began a decade ago. The man met his victim in 2014 while living in  Connecticut. In July 2015, the man had texted the victim and urged them to travel across state lines to have sex with the man.

In November 2019, law enforcement officials found images of child sex abuse involving the victim, who was from New Jersey and around 14 or 15 years old at the time. The images included photos and videos.

In addition to the 10 years in prison, the man was sentenced to 15 years of supervised release, He was also ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution to the victim.
